A great day for a Parade

This past Saturday Royston residents got treated to an awesome parade.  There were floats and tons of candy for all the kids.  I also experienced one of the loudest fire engines I have ever heard in my life.  We got to Royston right at 430 and found a spot on the street in front of Hall's and had a great view.  A good crowd came out to see the parade but I think the rain in the area may have caused some folks to stay home.

Lots of candy! I really mean that, it was basically raining candy.  Personally we scored about 7 pounds or so of the sugary treats.  Not sure if we can even eat it all but we couldn’t just leave it on the street!  Favorite moment for my family was when the good people at Rice Creek Baptist Church came by!  It was like a bucket of candy got tossed in the air!

All in all it was a lot of fun and the entire family enjoyed it.  So thank you city of Royston for a wonderful Christmas Parade!
